The Waterproof Pocket is made using a flexible solution with rare earth magnets (which are both phone and credit card safe) and a carbon neutral TPU. The pocket is self closing and used three bars for a triple, and 100% safe, seal.

Good effort. Waterproof pocket works but make sure you have dry hands when you pop your phone/cash in.
Dry slower than my Quicksilvers and lining isn’t as comfortable either IMO.
Otherwise buy if you can afford them. Good choice of colourways.

After several times of being asked to leave a review since buying these shorts I have now tried them out and will leave a review! I wasn’t going to but so many emails asking for a review!
The quality of the shorts is ok, not great, just ok. For the price I would expect exceptional.
They are really slow to dry after swimming compared to other swim shorts I have.
The waterproof pouch in itself does work! Swam with phone and ok but pleased I took it out after the swim as the cash I left in there got soggy with the condensation.
As for the comfort. The shorts are ok but with a huge harder plastic pocket does make them uncomfortable.
So in summary they do keep stuff dry but for the slow drying fabric compared to other swim shorts and the condensation and comfort factors I think they are too expensive.
They do look good - cool colour and pattern.

This is the second pair of shorts I have bought from Randycow and I am still amazed at how the waterproof pocket works, pretty skeptical at first so I used a wad of tissue paper to test it out, now I chuck my phone and money clip in the pocket when I'm at the beach with no hesitation before I go swimming. The flamingos are great and make a statement, especially after my first pair are the plain white ones. Really impressed with the whole experience from the elaborate un-wrapping to the quality of the shorts.
